Cotes de Burgh knows the importance and value of having a well trained wait staff. We are excited to offer a program that is tailored to your staff, wine list, and menu.
Cotes de Burgh's Staff Training Program (STP) is a two (2) hour program. Your STP can be scheduled all in one day or broken down into two separate one (1) hour classes. The choice is entirely yours, based on your scheduling needs.
STP Curriculum
Hour One: The focus is on wine education. This includes grape varieties, wine terminology, wine regions, wine labels, flavor profiles, serving suggestions and approaching a customer.
Hour Two: With the basic wine foundation set in the first hour, it is time to focus on wine and food. In hour two, we will take a look at the wines offered on your wine list and see how they pair with the foods from your menu. We will also discuss why some combinations will work and why some will not.
Fee: $130 for two (2) hours of wine/staff training
